Miladys brought AW26 to life through an intimate showcase at The Terrace at Ground in Johannesburg, creating a space where women could feel seen, understood and celebrated. Hosted by Sechaba Gqeba, the afternoon unfolded as a series of considered moments, grounded in one simple truth: everything Miladys does is for women.
This season is about understanding her, how she lives, what she needs, and how clothing can support her with ease. AW26 reflects this through versatile pieces and everyday essentials designed to feel reliable, wearable and confident, with a continued focus on fit, quality and consistency that customers can trust season after season.
Guests were invited to experience the collection up close, alongside personalised colour analysis sessions in partnership with Thobile Sibuyi of With Thobile, offering practical guidance to help her feel more confident in her choices.
A live performance by Zama Jobe brought warmth and energy into the space, while thoughtful touches elevated the experience beyond fashion. In partnership with Julep Flowers, guests received bouquets on departure, while Mr Price Home added an extra layer of atmosphere through beautifully curated candles placed throughout the space. Curated goodie boxes also included a Yardley fragrance, extending the moment beyond the day.
At the heart of the experience was the collection itself. Guests were introduced to key “Most Wanted” pieces, designed to simplify her wardrobe while still feeling current and considered. A real standout this season is denim, with an expanded range of shapes, fits and washes, all designed with comfort and confidence in mind. Miladys has also introduced knitwear sets, easy, comfortable pieces that move effortlessly with her lifestyle, whether she’s at home, travelling or out for the day.

Layering remains key, with shackets continuing as a standout item, now reimagined in more textures, colours and versatile silhouettes, the kind of piece she can throw on and instantly feel put together.
And then, the finishing touch. Bold jewellery and accessories from layered bangles and bracelets to brooches and statement scarves make it easy for her to elevate any look with personality and polish.
Guests also experienced the Chery Tiggo 7 on display, as part of Miladys’ in-store Mother’s Day campaign, where one shopper stands the chance to win the vehicle, a meaningful extension of the brand’s commitment to celebrating and rewarding women.

The AW26 showcase wasn’t just about a new season, but about connection, reinforcing Miladys as a brand that is for women, it understands her and delivers clothing that works for her in real life.
