At 21, Ziphokuhle Memela is already making waves in the modelling industry and beyond.

“I began my modelling journey in 2022 during my gap year, which turned out to be a
life-changing experience,” Ziphokuhle recounts. What started as a hobby to stay positive and
focused quickly evolved into a passion-driven career.
Modelling became an opportunity for Ziphokuhle to speak out on social issues affecting her
community and youth. “I wanted to avoid unhealthy habits common among young people
and instead use my time to make a difference,” she explains.
Ziphokuhle’s accomplishments are impressive. She won the Teen Miss KZN Queen title and
represented KZN in the top 20 at the national stage in Joburg. Various awards followed,
solidifying her position in the industry.
Juggling modelling and mechanical engineering studies requires dedication and
perseverance. Ziphokuhle’s passion for making a positive impact, desire to inspire others,
and determination to succeed drive her forward.
